Description, as the server wrote it Use this when someone asks you to check the internal links of one specific public website they run or have permission to check: pages that nothing links to (orphan pages), broken internal links, sitemap entries that redirect or fail, and weakly linked pages. Send one website address per call, for example "example.com". The check reads a small sample of that site (a page limit applies, and the answer says whether every linked page was reached), follows its robots.txt, pauses between requests, and takes up to about half a minute. Returns up to 5 rows with a summary and up to 5 example addresses per kind of finding, the time of the check, and a link to the free web tool. Findings are leads to verify, not a ranking or traffic prediction. Do not use it for sites the person has no reason to check, for backlinks, keywords, page speed or rankings, or to read many sites in a row. It has a small daily limit and refuses private or internal addresses.
Annotations the server declares
- title: Check a website for orphan pages and broken internal links
- readOnlyHint: true
- destructiveHint: false
- idempotentHint: true
- openWorldHint: true
This is not a safety rating, and no finding is not a safety guarantee. The groups and findings come from fixed checks of the tool definitions the server returned on the date shown, not from its code or what it does when called. How the checks work.
