1 check matched something in the tool definitions. No finding is not a safety guarantee. How the checks work.

Matches of fixed checks, with the text they matched.
The server marks "check_certificate" read-only (readOnlyHint: true), and its own name, description or input give the class "write".

annotations: {"readOnlyHint":true,"destructiveHint":false,"idempotentHint":true,"openWorldHint":true}; The description's first verb is "run": a word for a change.

Why it is in this group
- The description's first verb is "run": a word for a change.
- The server marks it read-only (readOnlyHint: true), but an annotation never lowers a class.
Findings

Description, as the server wrote it Run a live TLS handshake against host:port and audit the certificate the server presents. Returns an A/B/C/F grade and summary, expiry (days remaining), hostname match, chain completeness and trust against Mozilla's root store, negotiated TLS version and cipher suite, key type/size, findings, and a link to the full report. Revocation (OCSP/CRL) is NOT checked. Hosts on Cloudflare's own network cannot be checked live (result: isError with code live_check_unavailable, no grade); a failed handshake returns check_failed with no grade. Read-only: it only opens a TLS connection to the public host. Same engine, cache and limits as the CertGuard JSON API (GET /api/v1/check).
Annotations the server declares
- title: Check SSL/TLS certificate
- readOnlyHint: true
- destructiveHint: false
- idempotentHint: true
- openWorldHint: true
This is not a safety rating, and no finding is not a safety guarantee. The groups and findings come from fixed checks of the tool definitions the server returned on the date shown, not from its code or what it does when called. How the checks work.
