Changes things 2Claude Code: ask
  • check_domainCheck a domain only (no local part; anything containing "@" is refused): disposable (the domain or a parent domain is on the disposable-email-domains list), free webmail provider, …No findings

Why it is in this group

    • Nothing in its name or description says what it does, so it is counted as a write.
    • The server marks it read-only (readOnlyHint: true), but an annotation never lowers a class.
Description, as the server wrote it
Check a domain only (no local part; anything containing "@" is refused): disposable (the domain or a parent domain is on the disposable-email-domains list), free webmail provider, look-alike (confusable) domain and a typo suggestion. Use this when you do not need the part before the @. Read-only. Same engine, keys and limits as GET /v1/domain/{domain}.

    Annotations the server declares

    • title: Check domain
    • readOnlyHint: true
    • destructiveHint: false
    • idempotentHint: true
    • openWorldHint: false
  • check_emailCheck one email address against the disposable-email-domains list (CC0): disposable (domain or a parent domain is listed), role address (info@, admin@ …), free webmail provider, lo…No findings

Why it is in this group

    • Nothing in its name or description says what it does, so it is counted as a write.
    • The server marks it read-only (readOnlyHint: true), but an annotation never lowers a class.
Description, as the server wrote it
Check one email address against the disposable-email-domains list (CC0): disposable (domain or a parent domain is listed), role address (info@, admin@ …), free webmail provider, look-alike (confusable) domain, practical syntax, and a one-character typo suggestion for big webmail domains. List-based and offline: no MX/DNS lookup, so a valid format does not mean the mailbox exists. The address is sent in a POST body and not stored or logged. Read-only. Same engine, keys and limits as POST /v1/check.

    Annotations the server declares

    • title: Check email
    • readOnlyHint: true
    • destructiveHint: false
    • idempotentHint: true
    • openWorldHint: false
Only reads 1Claude Code: allow
  • get_metaReturn the service version and build, the disposable-list version, domain and allowlist counts, the last refresh time, the upstream source and licence (CC0), and the current limits…No findings

Why it is in this group

    • The name "get_meta" says "get": a word for reading.
Description, as the server wrote it
Return the service version and build, the disposable-list version, domain and allowlist counts, the last refresh time, the upstream source and licence (CC0), and the current limits. Does not count as a check. Read-only. Same data as GET /v1/meta.

    Annotations the server declares

    • title: Service info
    • readOnlyHint: true
    • destructiveHint: false
    • idempotentHint: true
    • openWorldHint: false

This is not a safety rating, and no finding is not a safety guarantee. The groups and findings come from fixed checks of the tool definitions the server returned on the date shown, not from its code or what it does when called. How the checks work.
